Well, don’t forget to sit up straight when you bring the flute to your lips - otherwise you’ll be compromising your tone. And don’t rush it either - take your time when practising, otherwise you won’t get the sound right. Also, make sure you learn how to play with the whole flute assembled before going too far. Last but not least, don’t overdo it - there’s no point in practising for hours on end!
