Divide by 3 - If the sum of all the digits in a number is divisible by 3, then the entire number is divisible by 3. Divide by 4 - If the last two digits in a number are divisible by 4, then the entire number is divisible by 4. Divide by 5 - Anytime you divide a number ending in 0 or 5, it’s always divisible by 5.
Divide by 6 - To check if a number is divisible by 6, first check if it’s even (divisible by 2) and then see if it’s also divisible by 3. If both conditions are true, then it’s also divisible 6. Divide By 7 - This one can be tricky! You’ll need to use trial and error to figure out if a number is evenly divided into 7 or not.
Divide By 8 - Just like with 4, if the last three digits of your dividend are evenly divided into 8, then so will be your entire dividend! Divide By 9 - This one’s easy: just add up all of the digits in your dividend and see if they’re evenly divided into 9!
